What We Support / How We Work / The Ticket System Our Monitoring System / Our Promise / Pricing
We have compiled a list of services that are included within your monthly fee, this is only to give you an idea of what we can support on a monthly basis. Please contact us if there are any other services that we have not mentioned.
- Advice/consultation on server related issues through our trouble ticket system.
- Troubleshooting server and control panel related problems.
- Apply standard operating system patches (provided by RedHat).
- Kernel upgrades.
- Pro-active monitoring of server log files.
- 24x7 monitoring of server resources, including http, load averages, disk usage and logged on users.
- Initial server software configuration (includes web, ftp, mail, DNS and control panel).
- Installation of Apache modules (for example, mod_rewrite and mod_php4).
- Installation of SSL certificates.
- Re-compilation of Apache and/or PHP. This is very common when additional PHP modules are required, such as Mcrypt, XSLT and cURL with SSL support.
- Install and support for server software (for example, ImageMagick and MRTG).
- Server software upgrades.
- Setup and configuration of DNS services, includes installation of additional IP addresses.
- Installation of firewall to harden security of the server. Includes configuration of iptables/ipchains.
- Automatic restart of standard services such as Apache, Bind, FTP, SSH and any control panel installed on the server.
- Automatic termination of any processes using too much memory and/or CPU after a set time.
At the moment, we only support specific servers, this allows us to specialize in one area and provide the best service possible. The following are the servers that we will support:
- Any server hardware specification. Servers with more than one processor are welcome.
- All versions of RedHat Linux operating system.
- Cpanel/WHM, Ensim WEBppliance, Ensim WEBppliance Pro and Webmin control panels are all supported. Servers with no control panel are also supported.
With our low monthly fees, we are not able to support everything. The main service that we don't support is installation of end-user software packages such as PerlBill, phpNuke and Gallery. Custom Perl and PHP/MySQL programming is also not supported. Both of these services are available at an additional hourly fee.
